I bought this convection range about a month ago and LOVE it! The cook top is easy to clean; it has all the options I wanted with low and high power burners. The BEST part is the griddle that comes with it! I was so pleased that I didn't have to purchase that as an "add on" - it sets neatly in a groove and distributes the heat evenly so makes our pancakes perfect every time!!! Convection oven is great of course.

This is a well thought-out and attractive product. So far I am still getting used to the oven programs that are slightly different than those of the Frigidaire "Professional" model it replaces. I do miss the warming drawer and the oval burner, but will work around those. A slight quibble, the oven racks have a tendency to tip down when pulled partly out and anything on them starts to slide forward. This disappears when they are fully to their stops. The burner controls are very smooth and easily adjustable to manage the flames. All in all, I am very pleased with this range! Now If it lasts better the previous one which had electronic control problems, which is why I got rid of it [every thing else was good] and bought this KitchenAid. By the way, I have a KitchenAid stand mixer ,KS-55, by Hobart, which is over 45yrs old, and is good as new!

We have all Kitchen Aid appliances, and have always loved them until this stove. It is extremely cheaply made and shows all the smudges and also gets very hot right above the nobs! Hot enough to burn a toddlers little hand! I would seriously think twice before you buy this stove if you have little ones. It's very sad to see how cheaply made this stove is. We didn't expect this from kitchen aid, sad to see they are going cheap on their products.

Difficult to clean

Sorry, I purchased this oven instead of the whirlpool which was a lot cheaper. The first time I tried to clean the stove top with a simple kitchen sponge it scratched. I wished the dealer would have give me a heads up on how to clean it. He also told me I'd get a rebate for purchasing 3 K A appliances not true. This stove was not designed for a person who cooks a lot and likes to keep the stove top looking clean. Grates weigh a ton and are difficult to lift. Need I say more -- hate it!

All Scratched Up!

I got this stove Nov 2018 and noticed a few scratches with I decided to just put up with. But now, every time you take the grading off to clean it it get more and more scratched up. It looks awful. I am so careful removing and taking off the grading too. This is a real bad design and it aggravates me off that such a beautiful stove can be so poorly designed. Im embarrassed to have people over to see this.

We moved into a new home and had all Kitchen Aid appliances installed. I love my range! It heats up fast and the oven temps seem to be accurate. The only thing I now worry about is that the burner knobs become hot to the touch when the oven has been on over an hour. I found this out the hard way! You should have a warning about them somewhere in your literature. Ok, so I got burned, but if a child is near the stove and touches the knobs, they will be burned too!! Not a good thing. There should be a "fix" for this that may include a silicone grip that doesn't heat up and can withstand high temps.

Haven't tried yet, but like the idea of putting grates in dishwasher and using lower steam heat to clean oven. Dislike: cleanability of stainless steel top - little cooked on speckles don't want to come off.

Loving my gas convection range

Did a kitchen remodel and switched from electric range to gas. I love it. The oven preheats a little slower than my electric, but cooks much more evenly!

A 21st century range

The day I received my new range, the oven was not working and had to have the sensor replaced. But I am back at it in the kitchen and everything so far it coming out to perfection. I do like the top configuration of the stove. It seems I have more space for my cookware, while cooking.

Excellent Stove!

Originally we purchased another stove, but it had to be sent back to the store (it was not a KitchenAid!) due to the bottom broiler making the drawer and floor very hot. This stove is 100% better than the one we sent back! The broiler is inside the oven, and the bottom drawer is for pan storage. Easy to use, and great that recipes can be converted to convection! Love it.

Only someone who does not cook could design such a beast: * anyone who cooks regularly knows that you have to remove the grates to clean the stove top underneath. * the big grates across the top are very heavy. So...every two days or so, you have to lift ALL the grates and transfer them elsewhere in order to clean the stove top. NOT a pleasant task. It was a lot easier with the old style, where you could take off one grate at a time. These things won't even fit into a sink when they themselves need cleaning. * Even when you are using only one burner, the big grate covers two burners, so it heats up more and sends more heat into the kitchen.

Disappointed

The stove in itself is beautiful, we have had ours a little more than two years, the burner caps have had to be replaced once, and I am getting ready to do so again, the caps degrade from the heat and become white in areas and are very unattractive, we have had a technician here twice to correct the oven temperature, I have now given up and just set the oven 15 - 25 degrees higher than recipes call for, I have the matching microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator and although we have had issues with all the stove is the biggest disappointment

Worst Appliance Purchase Ever

My mom purchased this stove in January and was told the Aqualift feature was just like Self Clean. Could not be farther from the truth. This is a horrible feature that DOES NOT work. The stove is still dirty on the inside. Both Kitchen Aid and the manager from Lowe's advised me to use the cleaning kit for the stove for all the areas the Aqualift doesn't clean. So basically my mom spent over $2000 to ultimately have to clean the stove herself. What a joke of a product.
